M.Sc. Communication Sciences & Disorders
Taanya Modi holds an M.Sc. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College, USA. She has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Boston across public schools, private practice, acute-care hospitals, and specialized schools. Her experience includes supporting children and young adults aged 3–22 with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders, and fluency disorders. Taanya also assesses and treats adults with aphasia, cognitive-communication disorders, dysphagia, and voice disorders. In acute-care settings, she has experience with tracheostomy management and Passy-Muir speaking valves. She is certified in Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS) and the SPEAK OUT!® program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
